Stopover HQ opens on Broughton Street

We are excited to have opened the 2013 Savannah Stopover Ticketing and Headquarters Downtown!  Our address is 217 W. Broughton St. in the old Clothing Warehouse space right above Taco Abajo. Come on by, say hello, hang out and buy your festival passes. This year, you can pick up your wristbands right when you buy your tickets!

Our Pre-Festival hours will be:

Tuesdays and Saturdays: 12 noon - 6 pm Thursdays: 4 pm -10 pm

The week of Savannah Stopover, Festival HQ hours will be:

Monday through Wednesday:  12 noon - 8 pm Thursday and Friday:  12 noon - 9 pm Friday:  12 noon - 6 pm

2013 Sponsors Announced!

Lineup Additions & Cancellations.

We have received unfortunate news that one of our bands, We Can't Enjoy Ourselves, will not be able to make it to Savannah Stopover 2013. Although this is a sad announcement we have some good to bring y'all as well. We are adding two more bands to this year's lineup! It includes the Brooklyn native Empress Of, who is reminiscent of Stopover alum Grimes; and Friend Roulette, with their dreamy and whimsical chamber pop.  We welcome both with arms wide open. Be sure to catch their sets at Club One and Hang Fire respectively.

Georgia Music Magazine featured Savannah Stopover!

Here at the office we are graciously appreciative of being included in Georgia Music Magazine's first issue of 2013. It's a nice article about how Stopover came about and where we're headed in 2013. Final Lineup & Schedule Announced!!!

Today we launched our full website along with the Final Lineup and schedule! Be sure to browse around the site to find more information and hopefully all the answers to your questions.

We are also excited to announce B&D Burgers on Congress St. as a new venue.

The Stopover crew will be opening a store front space at 217 West Broughton St., for all ticketing and registration needs. It will open on February 11th. Be sure to pay us a visit and if you have any questions or concerns don't be shy and swing on by!

2013 Band Poster Competition

Every year we have local (and national) artists, designers, photographers, painters, you name it, participate in a juried poster exhibition; and each year we are surprised by the amount of unique and creatively talented submissions we receive! Entrants pick a band, or multiple bands, from our lineup and design an individual poster inspired by that particular band. Submitted works will then go through a judging process where the semi-finalists and finalists will be exhibited at our Opening Night Event (with concerts by The Last Bison & Ben Sollee). Finalists will be able to attend Opening Night and prizes will be awarded for the top 4 posters!

So come on, check out the list of our bands, listen to their music on our playlist, and get those creative juices flowing!

Savannah Stopover 2013 News!

LINEUP: Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 27th. We'll have lots of news that day on the  2013 Stopover Festival lineup. We can't wait to share it with you.

TICKETS: Three-day 2013 festival passes will go on sale at TWELVE NOON, at 'Early Bird' pricing. When they're gone, they're gone. VIP passes and day passes will go on sale as well.

LAUNCH EVENT: On Friday, November 30th, there's a party at ThincSavannah (where our offices are based) with cocktails, an art opening and a secret show by a 2013 Festival performer. Click the link above for details!

LOCAL BANDS: Local bands hang tight. You're next! If you are a band that wants to submit, we'll have a Sonic Bids link up on 11/27 as well.
