Our Best of 2023 Playlist is out, featuring our top 40 songs of the year. It reflects all the yin and yang of our musical soul including new tracks from Stopover faves Nation Of Language, Caitlin Rose, Mckinley Dixon, The Bones of JR Jones and Pony Bradshaw, plus a slew of newer artists to discover like The Tubs, Yard Act, Margo Cilker, The Last Dinner Party, Blondshell, Bar Italia and more.
And 2023 was certainly a year for indie stalwarts to reemerge in fine form with fantastic songs (and albums!) from Yo La Tengo, Blur, The National, Slowdive and Animal Collective.
And lastly, a reminder that it's never too late to discover an artist that is 'new to you'. It's hard not to be blown away by Irish Folk singer Lisa O'Neill's 2023 album All of This is Chance but it also provides the perfect reason to go back and explore everything that came before it.
Let us know what made your list this year and stay tuned in the new year for info on our 2024 Monthly Concert Series!
